The Assembly, which was held online, renewed its confidence in the person of Lahlou, the only candidate for his own succession, to "continue the laudable and valuable efforts and initiatives undertaken during the previous term".
The members of the Federation also unanimously approved a resolution on the integration of the Association of Independent Radio and Television (ARTI) into the FMM, which is a member of the Board of Directors of the Moroccan employers' body (CGEM).
In addition to discussing and voting on the activity and financial reports for the previous financial year, the participants in the General Assembly focused on the main achievements made during this period, as well as the challenges and means of addressing them.
In a speech, Lahlou welcomed the new members, highlighting the value added they will have to bring to the Federation, in terms of their skills and their contributions to the development of the media and communication sector.
