This short film tells the story of Brahim, a calligrapher who runs an epitaph sculpture workshop. Brahim receives, in his absence, from a strange client, a paper containing information about a deceased person who bears the same name as him.
Produced in 2020, this 20-minute film is played by actors Azelarab Kaghat, Hicham Bastaoui, Malika El Omari, Nasser Mdaghri and Amina Alaoui.
The award for best director went to Tunisian Faouzi Jamal for his film "Thinline", while the short film "Kayla" by British director John Dower was awarded a special jury prize.
Regarding the documentary prize, it went to Algerian RĂ©da Mansel for his production "Objectif Hirak".
Created in 2016 by the young Tunisian director Kamel Aouij, the "Panorama" Festival is an annual and competitive cinematographic event entirely dedicated to the short film format.
