Cadi Ayyad University in Top 4 of Webometrics Ranking of World Universities

Marrakech - The Cadi Ayyad University (UCA) of Marrakech is among the Top 4 best universities in North Africa, according to the "Webometrics Ranking of World Universities", published by "Cybermetrics Lab", a research group under the Superior Council of Scientific Research (CSIC), the largest public research body in Spain.

The UCA ranked 4th behind Egyptian universities in Cairo, Alexandria and Mansoura, according to this ranking system based on the university's presence, visibility and web access.

Moroccan universities are in the Top 10 of the best universities in North Africa, namely: UCA of Marrakech (4th spot), and Mohammed V University of Rabat (10th spot), alongside 08 Egyptian universities, which dominate the TOP 10 of this ranking.

The UCA is one of the leading public universities nationally and regionally. Since its creation in 1978, it has fulfilled its full role in the creation and transmission of knowledge, as well as in research and innovation.

The UCA has nearly 14 sites and establishments in the cities of Marrakech, El Kelaâ des Sraghna, Safi and Essaouira.
