In a telephone conversation with minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, the Bahraini official expressed Manama's esteem for the "dedicated" efforts made by Morocco to host the sessions of inter-Libyan dialogue between the delegations of the High Council of State and the Tobruk Parliament, said Wednesday a statement by the Bahraini ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Bahraini official also praised the agreements and achievements, including the comprehensive agreement on transparent and objective criteria and mechanisms for filling positions of sovereignty, as enacted in the Skhirat Agreement, welcoming this "commendable step that can help ease tensions and support the process of political settlement to the conflict in Libya, so as to preserve the sovereignty, security and stability of this country".
For his part, Bourita reaffirmed Morocco's determination to consolidate cooperation with Bahrain in various areas as well as coordination on several issues, saying that the Kingdom will continue its efforts to establish peace in Libya.
The Moroccan minister also stressed the importance of international cooperation supporting a political solution to the Libyan crisis.
During their talks, the two parties also stressed the depth of fraternal relations and cooperation between Morocco and Bahrain as well as their constant evolution in all fields, thanks to the high solicitude of HM King Mohammed VI and the King of Bahrain, HM Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
