Under the signed text, the Action Maroc Club becomes a strategic partner of the Foundation of the former Ivorian international relating to a wide range of activities as health, environment, education, vocational training, and women's empowerment.
Cooperation between the two parties will initially focus on equipping the Laurent Pokou Medical Center, built by the Drogba Foundation, through the supply of 20 medical beds. The Action Maroc Club will also offer assistance in the acquisition of any material, equipment or service specific to the health sector for making the said Center operational.
The memorandum of understanding also provides for the intensification of the consultation process with a view to a more comprehensive partnership contract between the two parties in the future.
It also concerns the organization of common activities on the basis of a concrete work program, spanning 12 months and allowing to set priorities. These activities are related to the organization of joint events and the participation of Action Maroc Club in the specialized activities of the Didier Drogba Foundation and vice versa.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by president of Action Maroc Club Mohamed Dag Dag and the former icon of Ivorian football Didier Drogba, in the presence of the Ambassador of Morocco to Côte d'Ivoire Abdelmalek Kettani.
