Since the launch of the services of this medical facility on August 10, 12,333 people have benefited from the medical care provided by the hospital staff in various specialties.
Thus, the hospital's medical staff has performed 208 surgeries in various specialties.
It also provided several basic treatments, including 839 medical analyzes and performed 1,386 x-ray examinations, in addition to the free distribution of medicines to more than 9,763 people.
Speaking to MAP, the director of the field hospital, Professor Chekkar Kacem, stressed that the hospital continues to provide medical services in good conditions while complying with the necessary covid-19 precautionary measures.
A significant number of people come to the hospital to receive medical care, including Lebanese and foreigners, he added.
HM King Mohammed VI has given his high instructions for sending emergency medical and humanitarian aid to the Lebanese Republic, following the tragic explosion in the port of Beirut.
The Sovereign has also given his high instructions for sending and deploying a military field hospital in Beirut in order to provide emergency medical care to the populations injured in this incident.
The explosion in the port of Beirut, the country’s main logistical point for entry of all goods, on August 4, killed 190 people and injured over 6,500 more.
