In an article devoted to the inter-Libyan dialogue meetings between the delegations of the Libyan High Council of State and the Tobruk Parliament, held in Bouznika from 06 to 10 September, primiciadiario.com highlighted the important role played by the Kingdom in helping the Libyan parties to find a political solution to their differences and thus enable this Maghreb country to emerge from the chaos in which it has been plunged since the fall of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.
This dialogue, which aims to maintain the ceasefire and open negotiations to end the conflicts between the Libyan parties, comes a few weeks after the visit to Morocco of chairman of the Libyan High Council of State, Khalid al-Mishri, and speaker of the Tobruk Parliament, Aguila Saleh, recalled the same source.
The role played by Morocco in this regard has been widely praised by the international community, said the Colombian website. Thus, the United Nations (UN), the African Union and the Arab League have welcomed the role played by Morocco in hosting and facilitating inter-Libyan dialogue, while stressing the constructive role of the Kingdom in resolving this conflict, the same source said.
The European Union, through its spokesman, Peter Stano, expressed its gratitude to Morocco for its active role with both parties in support of the process led by the United Nations, said the Colombian news portal.
For their part, the State of Qatar, Mauritania, Jordan, Turkey, Spain, France, Belgium, Italy and Canada welcomed the "direct outcome" achieved at the end of the inter-Libyan dialogue sessions in Bouznika, as well as the "constructive role" played by Morocco to achieve a solution to the Libyan crisis, the same source stressed.
