The medical staff of the hospital performed, from August 10 to 26, more than 88 surgeries, including complicated procedures in various specialties.
These operations, carried out for the benefit of those affected by the explosion that occurred on August 4, mainly concerned appendicitis and gastrointestinal and visceral infections.
For its part, the department of gynecology and obstetrics carried out several operations for the benefit of women, as well as an urgent c-section for a Moroccan citizen living in Lebanon.
The cosmetic surgery department performed a number of delicate surgeries, notably burns and skin complications, as well as eye surgeries.
The medical staff of the orthopedic and rheumatology surgery department also performed surgical interventions, as did the ENT surgery department.
The military field hospital has so far provided 12,946 medical services in various specialties for the benefit of 5,800 people.
