In statements to MAP after a meeting on Wednesday in Warsaw with ambassador of Morocco Abderrahim Atmoun, the African diplomats wanted to express the heartfelt thanks and gratitude of their respective countries for this laudable initiative and this commendable gesture, a testimony of active solidarity, of fraternity and of the Kingdom's continuous support for the countries of the continent.
Senegal's ambassador to Warsaw, Papa Diop, praised the exemplary solidarity shown by Morocco by delivering medical aid to his country last week to support its efforts to fight the coronavirus, saying that this gesture testifies to the long-standing and privileged relations which unite the two countries.

In addition to the African ambassadors who were accompanied by the Nigerian chargé d'affaires Itam Akpama Icha, European diplomats accredited to Poland highlighted Morocco's gesture of solidarity towards African countries.
Ambassador of Croatia Tomislav Vidosevic underscored the Royal Initiative to provide medical aid to African countries to face the pandemic, welcoming a strong gesture of solidarity.
For his part, Italian Ambassador Aldo Amati noted the importance of solidarity between countries to fight the pandemic, hailing the assistance provided by Morocco and its gesture of solidarity and generosity towards African countries, which should be an example to be followed by other countries.
For his part, Vice-President of the Poland-Morocco Friendship Group in the Senate Aleksander Pociej underlined that Morocco has contributed a lot to helping its friends and neighbors to fight the pandemic, expressing gratitude for this important gesture of solidarity.
