In this letter, His Majesty the King said he learned with deep emotion and great sorrow the sad news of the fire which caused several casualties and enormous damage. On this sad occasion, the Sovereign expressed to the Chilean President, the family members of the victims, and the people of Chile his heartfelt condolences and sincere feelings of compassion and solidarity.
