HRH Princess Lalla Meryem takes part in dinner offered by HRH Prince Charles of Wales and HRH Duchess of Cornwall

London - HRH Princess Lalla Meryem, who is representing HM King Mohammed VI in the Diamond Jubilee of HM Queen Elizabeth II, took part Friday in a dinner offered on this occasion by HRH Prince Charles of Wales, Heir to the Throne, and HRH Duchess of Cornwall, at the Buckingham Palace in London.

On her arrival, HRH Princess Lalla Meryem was greeted by HRH Prince of Wales and HRH Duchess of Cornwall.

Sovereigns and members of foreign royal families, including the King and Queen of Belgium, the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the Prince of Monaco, the King and Queen of Sweden and King and Queen Norway were invited to this dinner.

HRH princess Lalla Meryem had taken part Friday in a lunch banquet hosted by the UK Queen in Windsor Castle (west of London).

Grandiose celebrations are planned to mark the Diamond Jubilee of the Queen of England, who celebrates this year the 60th anniversary of her enthronement.
