Upon his arrival at the Ibn Yassine covered Hall in Rabat, HRH Crown Prince was greeted by Minister of Youth and Sports, Mohamed Ouzzine, Lieutenant General Hosni Benslimane, President of the Moroccan National Olympic Committee (CNOM) and the Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Zemmour Zaer region, Hassan Amrani, as well as other several figures.
HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan then visited a photo exhibition on the history of the tournament since its inception in 2006 and joined the official stand.
His Royal Highness joined subsequently the arena of the game where he was greeted by team members of the UST and Kuwait, as well as the referees of the match.
After that, HRH Crown Prince gave the official start of the final before returning to the official stand to attend the game.
Following that sports event, initiated in coordination with the Moroccan Royal Basketball Federation, His Royal Highness handed the Cup to the UST team captain, winner of the competition, and another trophy to the captain of the Kuwaiti team, ranked second.
This edition saw the participation of nine teams from France, Algeria, Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, in addition to Morocco which was represented by three teams.
