Signed by Deputy Chairman of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment Lahoucine and Minister of National Education Mohamed El Ouafa, the agreement is intended to institutionalize the programme and develop environmental awareness among children as well as to promote participatory teamwork in Moroccan high schools.
The agreement also provides for the elaboration of pedagogical and didactic approaches to ensure the success of the programme in addition to coordination with all other partners in terms of holding training sessions, workshops and visits benefiting high school students.
Under the same agreement, excellence will be promoted through encouraging competitiveness between high schools and granting awards to the winners of the Young Reporters for the Environment competition.
This partnership agreement was signed within the framework of the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Young Reporters of the Environment programme.
