The Sovereign visited the new establishment carried out by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity. The facility will offer training for the youth, mainly mobility-handicapped people, dropouts and jobless graduates in order to boost their competence and fight social exclusion.
The center is built over 1,100 m² and has an accommodation capacity of 120 youngsters. It provides courses in information technology (IT), office automation, household appliances' repair, jewellery, embroidery and dressmaking.
The facility includes notably workshops, a seminar room, a library, an infirmary, an administration, a reception, a shop, and technical premises. It will be run mainly by the Office of Vocational Training and the Promotion of Labor (OFPPT).
The center is part of a general program aimed at building 10 similar establishments in the Kingdom for 108 million dirhams.
