According to preliminary information, the accused attacked the two tourists for no apparent reason with stones, causing them injuries of varying degrees of severity, according to the same source.

The two injured were transferred to the Moulay Youssef Hospital in Rabat to receive the necessary care, while the accused was placed in custody for the purposes of the ongoing investigation under the supervision of the competent prosecutor, in order to clarify the motives of this criminal act, it added.
