Tangier: Wanted Individual Died During his Transfer to Hospital After Feeling Unwell (DGSN)

Rabat - An individual, who was the subject of two search warrants, died Monday morning during his transfer to the hospital on board an ambulance, the Tangier police prefecture said.

Arrested at his home by the anti-gang squad, the wanted individual was a victim of a malaise at the police headquarters before being transferred to hospital, the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) said in a statement.

The body of the deceased has been deposited in the morgue for autopsy, to determine the causes of death, while a judicial investigation has been opened under the supervision of the competent prosecutor, to clarify the ins and outs of this incident, the same source added.
