Magnitude-4.2 Quake Recorded off Driouch Province

Rabat - A tremor of magnitude 4.2 degrees on the open Richter scale was recorded Sunday off the province of Driouch, said the National Institute of Geophysics (ING).

The tremor, whose epicenter is located off the province of Driouch, occurred at 8:32:16 a.m. (GMT+1), said the ING in a seismic alert bulletin.

At a depth of 15 km, the tremor occurred at a latitude of 35.512 °N and a longitude of 3.588 °W, the same source said.
