The President of the Regional Council of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, Omar Moro, received a delegation representing the regional government of Andalusia (Junta de Andalucia), led by Secretary General for External Action Josep Enric Millo i Rocher.
The meeting took place in the presence of the Council's Vice President Rafia El Mansouri, the President of the Commission for Partnership and International Cooperation and Moroccans of the World, Ayman El Ghazi, and the Director General of Council Services, Rabie El Khamlichi, said a statement from the Regional Council.
This meeting was an opportunity to emphasize the strong and friendly relations between Morocco and Spain in general, and the regional government of Andalusia in particular, given the common history and geographical proximity.
According to the statement, these aspects open the way to promising prospects for bilateral cooperation, to address common challenges and strengthen trade and economic exchanges between the two countries.
The meeting was also an opportunity to examine ways to develop models of cooperation, particularly in the areas of education, cultural tourism, social economy and solidarity, environment, renewable energy and the digitization of the administration.
