The delegation, led by Mohamed Saad Eddine Smij, chargé de mission at the Royal Chamberlaincy, also handed over financial aid to needy families and people with chronic diseases, wheelchairs to people with special needs, as well as a batch of clothes to orphaned children or from needy families.
The handing over of these royal donations took place during a religious ceremony at the Mausoleum Moulay Bouchta Al-Khammar, in the presence of the Governor of the province of Taounate, Saleh Daha, elected officials, local authorities and Chorfas.
This royal gesture aims to help poor families and sick people in the province and to assist them to cope with the cost of living.
During this ceremony, the audience raised prayers imploring the Most High to preserve HM King Mohammed VI, Amir Al Mouminine, and to fulfill the Sovereign in the person of HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid and all members of the illustrious royal family.
The audience also raised prayers for the repose of the soul of the late HM Mohammed V and the late HM Hassan II.
