Once notified, on Saturday night, of the situation of the four-story building located in Moulay Rachid district, local authorities, security services and the Civil Protection moved to the scene and evacuated the construction site and its surroundings to ward off any potential danger, according to the same source.

After the collapse, the area was secured. A probe was opened into the case by the judicial police under the supervision of the competent Prosecutor's Office to investigate the collapse.

An administrative investigation was also launched by the relevant services of the prefecture of Moulay Rachid districts to establish the responsibilities.
