The suspects, aged 31 to 34, were arrested in coordination with the Gendarmerie Royale at the highway toll booth at the entrance of the city of Agadir on their arrival in a tourist transport vehicle bearing false license plates, the National Police (DGSN) said in a statement.

The search operations have led to the seizure of 36 bundles of chira weighing a total of 2.120 tonnes, as well as a set of false license plates and knives.
