Sixth Edition of Parliamentary Forum on Social Justice Kicks off in Rabat

Rabat - The 6th edition of the Parliamentary Forum on Social Justice opened Monday morning in Rabat, under the theme ''Social Dialogue and Challenges of the Social State'', at the initiative of the House of Advisors in partnership with the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (EESC).

The inaugural session of this edition, organized under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, was marked by the presence of speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, speaker of the House of Advisors, Naama Mayara, Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch and president of the EESC, Ahmed Rida Chami.

It was also attended by chairman of the Parliament of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), Sidie Mohamed Tunis, and secretary general of the Confederation of Arab Trade Unions, Mustapha Tlili.

This edition comes in a context marked by the emergence of a new generation of economic, social and cultural rights and the appearance of new social actors and forms of interaction of citizens with societal issues.
