Royal Navy Assists 147 Illegal Migration Candidates
Rabat - Coast guards of the Royal Navy assisted, during the night of 21 to 22 November, a total of 147 would-be illegal immigrants, mostly from sub-Saharan countries as well as 10 Asian countries, and who were in difficulty on board various makeshift boats, according to a military source.
These rescued candidates received first aid on board Royal Navy units, before being brought back safe and sound to the nearest ports of the Kingdom and handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie for the usual administrative procedures, the same source said.
