Royal Navy Assists 331 Would-be Immigrants on Nov. 12-15 (Military Source)
Rabat - Coastguards of the Royal Navy operating in the Mediterranean and Atlantic in coordination with radar stations and surveillance posts located on the adjacent coastline, have provided assistance during the period from 12 to 15 November to 331 would-be immigrants, including 248 sub-Saharans, 80 Moroccans, 02 Asians and 01 Sudanese, in difficulties aboard various makeshift boats, according to military sources.
The rescued people received first aid on board the units of the Royal Navy, before being transported to the nearest ports of the Kingdom, then handed over to the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie for customary administrative procedures, the same source said.
