The number of deaths due to the coronavirus stands at 47, while three new recoveries have been reported, bringing the number of cured people to 34, said the ministry on the portal "www.covidmaroc.ma".

 In addition, the total number of cases excluded after negative laboratory results is 2,983, according to the same source.

 The 735 positive cases were reported in the regions of Casa-Settat (217), Marrakech Safi (130), Rabat Salé Kenitra (116), Fez-Meknes (117), Tangier Tetouan Al Hoceima (48), the Eastern region (38), Beni Mellal-Khénifra (23), Souss-Massa (19), Daraa-tafilalet (24), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (2) and Guelmim Oued Noun (1), specified the website.

 The ministry urges citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities, and to show responsibility and patriotism.
