Covid-19: 15 New Cases in Morocco, 617 in Total (Ministry of Health)

Rabat - Fifteen new cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) were confirmed in Morocco until Tuesday at 9 p.m., bringing the total number of cases in the kingdom to 617, the Ministry of Health says on its website "www.covidmaroc.ma".

According to the same source, 36 people died from the virus, while 24 others have recovered.

The cases excluded following negative tests are 2,462, it adds.

The 617 confirmed cases were reported in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (176), Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (105), Fez-Meknes (114), Marrakech-Safi (108), Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (41), the Oriental (26), Souss-Massa (17), Beni Mellal-Khenifra (18), Daraa-Tafilalet (11) and Guelmim-Oued Noun (1).

The ministry urges citizens to observe rules of hygiene, implement the precautionary measures issued by the Moroccan authorities, act with responsibility and show patriotism.
