CAF Champions League: Wydad Edge Sundowns 2-1 in Semi-final First Leg

Rabat - Wydad Casablanca beat on Friday South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 in the first leg of the African Champions League semi-final at Rabat's Prince Moulay Abdallah Stadium.

Salaheddine Saidi gave Wydad the lead in the 25th minute but Anele Ngcongca leveled the tie four minutes before halftime.

Badie Aouk scored the second goal for the hosts two minutes into the second half.

The return leg will be played on May 4 in Pretoria.
